March Madness Math Contest

About

The 2023 March Madness Math Contest (MMMC) will take place from Wednesday, March 15, 2023 through Sunday, March 19, 2023.

The MMMC is a 50-minute, 20-question test with a 4-day submission window. The contest is open to all students from all grade levels, and all participants are eligible for prizes.

The difficulty of the problems will range from early-AMC to late-AIME; the contest is designed to be accessible to everyone while still challenging highly experienced students.

Registration

If you are interested in the competition, fill in the registration form at: https://tinyurl.com/registerMMMC

Additionally, as stated previously, please join our Discord server, as we will be using Discord to hold the contest and communicate with participants.

The registration deadline is 11:59 PM EST on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Format/Rules

Unlike some of our previous contests, this competition will not be held live; instead, the test can be taken during any 50-minute window from Wednesday, March 15 through Sunday, March 19. The test will open in the morning on March 15, and will close at 11:59 PM EST on March 19.

The contest will be held through a form with an automatic timer: once you start the test, the timer for 50 minutes will start.

Note that the use of calculators, textbooks, computer programs, and other outside aids is strictly prohibited. In addition, please refrain from discussing the problems before the submission period is over. Breaking any of these rules will result in disqualification from the MMMC and potentially a ban from future Math4All events as well.

Prizes

The first place winner will receive a $50 cash prize, and the second place winner will receive a $25 cash prize. The top 10 participants also receive a lifetime Taskade Unlimited Subscription (valued at $1000+).
