The first annual Summer Online Math Contest (SOMC) was held on September 3, 2022, from 1:00 PM EST to 4:00 PM EST.

The SOMC consists of 2 rounds: a Speed Round and an Accuracy Round. The Speed Round has 15 problems and a 25-minute time limit, and the Accuracy Round has 10 problems and a 45-minute time limit. Each participant’s final score is be the sum of their Speed Round score plus twice their Accuracy Round score. For both rounds, calculators, textbooks, computer programs, and other outside aids are not allowed.

The problems range from early-AMC 8 to late-AIME/early-USAMO difficulty.
